Lady Gaga seeks home as only cat~~

Lady Gaga, sweet little muffin that she is, starts purring as soon as you pet her. She kneads her little paws in and out, and gives head butts galore, in a riveting performance of adoration. Sweet little firecracker. She was living with an elderly lady and four torties. Reportedly she was quite the bully to the torties. Could it have been that she sensed she just didn't fit into the sorority of torties? Perhaps we'll know one day, but for now we are recommending that she be placed as an only cat. At her vet visit today, though, she was observed to be unflappable in the midst of exactly five barking dogs in the waiting room. So perhaps she would be fine in a home with dogs.

We are clear that she gets along great with all humans, and would very much love to have her own! Won't you come meet Lady Gaga?

Adoption fee of $95 covers spay, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, upcoming dental, and treatment for fleas/parasites. To inquire, please call (314) 351-5328.

Blossom is looking for her home!

Blossom is as sweet as any kitten could possibly be. SHe and her littermates were bottle-fed and as a consequence they love humans and want to follow them around purring. Blossom would love to meet you soon!

Blossom is the tiniest of the litter. Some would say that makes her extra cute~ She is also extra sweet!

Adoption fee of $150 covers spay, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Perfect Dog-Walking Weather!

Such a happy puppy, Charley can't stop wagging his tail. Thwack, thwack, thwack.... he gets so excited when he sees you! And even more excited if you give him a kind word. He's also a very sweet, docile puppy who is quickly learning to behave like a little puppy gentleman.

Ony a few sort weeks ago, he seemed to have no future. Abandoned in a box under the blazing sun, he also was obviously ill when discovered by our volunteer. Lethargic and dispirited. Worse, he tested positive for parvo. This cat group could not resist Charley, though, so we inducted him into the cat rescue as an honorary kitten.

Charley put up a brave fight during several weeks in intensive care, and he survived the parvo! Now he's safe and sound, surrounded by cats of all ages and temperaments, and looking forward to meeting his very own family.

Charley is now completely housetrained and working hard on "sit, down, and stay."

His adoption fee covers neuter, micrchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and routine medical care.

Archie and Peyton were adopted today!

New Kitty on the block~

Max rolls over, purrs, rolls more, purrs. "Keep petting, please!" He does everything he can to show you how much he loves your attention. He is a very sweet cat.

Someone brought Max and his friend Mocha up to the PETCO reporting that the cats needed a home due to the human allergies. Max had a bad skin problem at that time which turned out to be the result of a flea infestation and his flea allergies. He's doing much better now, with his fur growing back and looking glossy. Max also adores being combed and brushed.

If you would love to pamper a sweet cat for the rest of his life, come meet Max!

Adoption fee of $125 covers neuter, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Geo Leo!

Truly magnificent, Geo has an unusually solid yet svelte musculature. He is some kind of Siamese mix who has tan, brown, and a few spots of orange. I've never seen a cat colored like him.

Geo is a big lug of a sweetie pie who is still recovering his nerves after being disoriented from his home for weeks and ended up in the next neighborhood where a women began to take care of him. Even though by putting out flyers she was able to reconnect Geo to his human, the man wasn't able to keep him as he lost his home and job and had to move in with his uncle. The women said she would take care of Geo, bringing him into her home until she could find him a permanent home. But after time passed she decided to get a hold of us and Geo is now with a foster mom, and hoping someone will offer him a permanent home!

Geo is a warm, loving, playful and affectionate cat and he will make some happy to have him.

Adoption fee of $125 covers neuter, tes for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment fr fleas/parasites.

Jane is looking for her own human!

"I want my own lap!". Jane was left behind by some humans who moved. Right now she lives with a lot of foster cats, and she would so love her very own human. She's trying so hard to be a good sport about foster care--- and she's been trying so long!---but she would prefer to be the one-and- only cat. She's just hoping her human soulmate will see her and reach out....

UPDATE: Jane just had a dental, and she feels great! Meaning that she is even more sweet than before. Won't you give her a call?

We are a nonprofit cat rescue. Her adoption fee of $85 covers spay, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment for fleas and parasites. Jane just had a dental today also, and is now evn more ready for her new home!

Halloween's over... now you can adopt Abby!

Abby, the sweetheart, is another victim of the economy. At least such we assume since she was dropped off at a store without anyone noticing. Abby is a sweet, lively cat with little tufts all over her ears. Recently she decided to meet Charley Brown, the puppy who we, the cat group, are offering for adoption. Abby treated the puppy just as cordially as if he were her long lost kitty friend. Now we know that she seems to do fine with dogs.

Adoption fee of $125 covers spay, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites. Also please remember that we are having an August special: Any cat adopted during the month of August comes with her own litter box and cat carrier.

If you would like to meet sweet Abby, please call (636) 343-7106 and also feel free to come by the PETCO in Affton during business hours.

Lap Cat Seeks Quiet Home~~

This soft, sweet little cat managed to survive landing in a high volume kill shelter. As a solid black cat, shy and demure, senior, and with only three legs, her chances were not good to make it out alive.

So we came and got her.

Amelia gets along with everyone in the world, and is longing to have her own family so that she can sit on their laps while they watch the news at night. After that she's like to crawl into bed with you and purr. Even after everything she's been through, Amelia just wants to be your little friend. Won't you drop her a line and make her purr for the rest of her life?

Adoption fee of $95 covers spay, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Rascak is looking for fun!

Sweet, playful, mischievous. A cat who knows his own mind, Rascal is all about action. Don't leave your ball point pens lying on top of the desk or they will become his favortie toys! And if another cat happens to innocently walk by, there's his next toy! Rascal will do best in an active home with people who will play with him. He's quite adorable once he calms down. And always so cute!

Rascal is looking for a home with no other cats. He is excellent with most dogs once he knows them. The best way to meet Rascal is to call his foster mom at (314) 650-0178.

Adoption fee of $125 covers neuter, test for felv/fiv, vaccinations, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites. Rascal also had a dental last month.

Biggie (felv+/fiv+), still going strong, still looking for a home!

Biggie is in a foster home. Not with me (photographer), but with my friend. I'd like him to have his very own home for his sake and also for the sake of the human who adopts him. He loves cuddling and contact, so if he had his own home he would have more contact than he gets in foster care (and be happier). And, he will deliver a force field of good feeling in return. I felt a flow of relaxation and happiness coming from him into me while he was on my lap. He has so much goodwill that you absorb some of it while he is on your lap.
